A stunning place to visit

Our full opening is planned for April 2019. The Beonna is, however, already alive with a number of events and activities.

With music, dance, fundraisers, heritage events and special activity days - plus groups and things-to-do for people of all ages - there will be plenty on offer at The Beonna this year.

Join us at one of our events or community activities and admire the newly restored medieval architecture, search for marks left by those who have gone before us, see how our predecessors guarded against evil spirits and rest in our peaceful churchyard. Enjoy the unique and atmospheric surroundings of a rural medieval building situated in the breathtaking Lincolnshire Fens just a short distance from the unrivalled coastal wildlife and historic WW2 defences of Freiston Shore

Why not combine a trip to The Beonna with a visit to nearby attractions including Batemans Brewery Visitor CentreWe'll Meet Again Home Front Museum and RSPB nature reserves at Freiston Shore and Frampton Marsh. The market town of Boston, with its famous medieval 'Stump' church is five miles to the south west and the coastal resort of Skegness just 17 miles to the north east.

Free parking in our large car park is available throughout our normal opening hours, at special events and during hire at other times. Coaches are very welcome and we encourage drivers to make contact in advance to allow us to reserve a space.

We welcome 'church crawlers'! If you would like to visit the building outside of our advertised events to photograph its fabric architecture please do get in touch

If you are considering The Beonna as a venue for your next special occasion in Lincolnshire please visit our hire page for further information.
